I forgot about the strawberries too, they are still producing little fruits for salads. This year has been more of a container garden than in the ground. I recently planted some carrot seeds in my new bamboo planter. For a while at least most of the space in it will be just plain soil so I figured there was nothing to loose. A while back I transplanted a nice healthy earthworm from the ground into my bamboo’s new home. Live long and prosper.
I still have the Red Ti plants outside, but being a tropical plant they will need to come inside soon. Like the bananas in the past, there are too many to compete for the limited space indoors where they can get sun. The not yet giant, Giant Suhaurao cacti will also need to come in, but since I haven’t re-potted them they will still fit on a few window sills. Next year they will have to get larger pots, but for now they’ll keep.
Has anyone come up with any good ideas for indoor plant space? I have no south facing windows which makes for limited sun exposure at the time of year when there isn’t much sun to be had. Luckily the bananas don’t seem to need much if any direct sun once they adapt to being inside, but as for everything else it’s a problem.
I recently went to Colorado for a company class. The magazine in back of the seat in front of me on the flight had a short article/ review on the Nite Hawke theater I’ve mentioned on Metropolitan Avenue in Williamsburg. Apparently they keep changing their food and drink menu to include something along the lines of the movies they show. You can check them out online where they have their menu and specials posted: http://www.nitehawkcinema.com/screenings.php
